@woupss. Thanks. This is good to know. I am actually able to filter 2 separate layers but then deleting one of the layers doesn’t work.
Would it be possible to add filtering and deleting a filter on more than one layer to the plugin?

I dont know how you can filter on 2 layers because you can select only one layer…
What is happen is that when you change layer and field and value for a second filter (without delete first filter), geometries of first filter stay selected but you loose centroids and the color affected to the filtered value
For filter on a second layer, all is possible, but it much work and tests…

Can I suggest yet another feature?
When a filter is created on a vector with points, the filtered vector is only show when the layer the filter is applied to is turned on. In other words, one can turn on the layer, then create the filter, and the layer is shown as per the filter. One can then turn off that layer and the entire layer is not shown. One can turn the layer back on and again the layer is shown as per the filter. I like this.
But with a vector with polygons, the behavior is different. When a filter is created on a vector with polygons, the filtered vector is show when the layer the filter is applied to is turned on but is also shown even when the layer the filter is applied to is turned off. Can it at least be an option not to show the layer when the layer is turned off. Or simply having the layer not showing when it is turned off would work too.
And one more suggested feature:
Again with vectors with polygons. When a vector with polygons is filtered the polygons that remain are shown as an outlined polygon, which has the inside (or fill) shaded. And a centroid is shown as a point. Sometimes this is wonderful, but sometimes I would simply like to see the polygon styled the way I already have it styled. Sometimes this is simply as an outline without fill and lacking a centroid. Is it possible to have an option to show it as originally styled?

@woupss. Your new features and updates works great! I now see your plugin as essential, it really makes it easy to work with vector layers that have large number of features. Thanks for all of the updates. I think others will find it very useful too.
