Just a quick question!

My company is looking to have a layer in QField with a predetermined location for sample collection, however, when the sample is taken it may be 1m or so away and want to collect the updated GNSS position (X/Y) with an external GNSS receiver. Is this possible? If so how? Ideally, the shapefile could just be edited and empty fields filled in and position updated.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
