I have an attached ‘word’ document for a number of features of a survey. These are linked ‘word’ docs. I want the surveyor to be able to update each doc with new observations when they go on site. How do I set up the form for some kind of ‘Parent’ > ‘child’ relationship which can be updated by surveyors.

An idea could be to store your Word doc on Office365 cloud in order to have an hyperlink in your survey rather than a file attached. Office365 allows to edit Word files online without Word app installed on the device.
