I would like to know if it’s possible to move a project I have stored in my ‘Imported Projects’ folder into ‘My Projects’ on the QFieldCloud.
I originally downloaded the project from a zip and it is therefore stored on my device locally. However, I have now created a QFieldCloud account and would like to move the project into the cloud so that I can access it from both my mobile and my tablet.
Is it possible to do this straight from the app without having to use the desktop QGIS?
Dear @tmacdo it can be done, with the newest releases. I am not sure, which version of QField you are using?
If you have the most recent one, then you should be able to open the local project, click on the cloud option and it will say “cloudify” and ideally connect to QFC directly.
I am running 3.7.9 - Haida Gwaii. If I click the cloud icon from the dashboard, it tells me “the current project is not stored on QFieldCloud” and an option to learn more about QFieldCloud.
@tmacdo , it will be available in the next version of QField to be released in mid December. Until then you are invited to install QField “unstable” on the play store and test it out , you’ll likely find other nice features to test out
