I am conducting an aerial survey and would like to track the survey live in QFIELD. I am using a Android tablet with QFIELD installed and tracking the GPS data using a bad elf via Bluetooth. I can track the survey in real-time on the tablet but I want to create a visible track of the survey so I can see where we have been. I can do this in QGIS but trying to figure out how to do it in QFIELD.
There is this entry in the documentation: Tracking - QField Ecosystem Documentation
However, what is not mentioned in there is to create a line layer when setting up your project, or add a line layer later on into your project. With a line layer, you can have that layer be the one that all tracking points will be added to as vertices of a (multi) line?
In QGIS you can style this line any way you like and it will show up in QField as soon as new vertices are added.
