iPad not syncing latest project changes from QField Cloud

Hi all,
I’m testing QField/Cloud features on a project within an organization using two user accounts:
User 1 on an iPad
User 2 on an Android phone

The issue:
On the iPad, after the initial project download, every time I synchronize, it reverts back to the version of the project that was first loaded when the app was installed.
Even if I make edits on the iPad itself, after syncing, it still resets back to the original state.
The Android device and my PC (QGIS) both load and sync updates correctly without this problem.
(note: Push Changes on the ipad does work, I can receive those changes and update the QField project, but whenever the ipad syncs it wont show the changes even though they are visible on the other devices).

What I’ve tried:
Latest ios and Qfield update
Switching user accounts between devices → Android still syncs correctly, iPad still has the issue.
Only way to refresh the iPad project to the latest version is to uninstall and reinstall the QField app.

Has anyone else experienced this behaviour or know of a solution?
