QField project packaging for iphone results in mangled forms

dear all,

we are using QField with QField sync for packaging ( not using QF Cloud). We are trying to deploy on a range of android and iphone phones. The forms, structured in about 3 tabs, package well onto android, as a zip. The structure is simple, flat, with no subfolders, one gpkg of data, one mbtiles layer, one set of zip qfield attachments ( I presume these are icons), and a .qgs.

When uploading to an iphone, this project loses the tab structure and ends with unusable fields ( e.g., for media upload and recording). We are unsure why this would be.

We also tried to package all in a single gpkg, which works on android but again, not on iphone. The documentation is frankly maddening, I would appreciate any hints.

I think what I would do is make a version of the project that your company is ok with exporting that demonstrates the problem and try to sync it with the qfieldcloud. Then you can see if your problem is happening there as well. And then if you can make a github project that demonstrates the problem and share it with us, it would be easier to help.

Hi both,

Indeed, the documentation on iPhone is a bit sparse, we will work on this. In your case, however, yes, please share a sample project for us to look at.

Thank you all. We are preparing a project modified from the original we cannot share. The problem is we have no iPhones in the team :), so hard to know if the bug replicates - hence the delay.
