Hi, I’m currently working for an organization that’s looking to develop Qfield on a fleet of around 70 tablets to do data capture in the field, we currently have two options for retrieving captured data, but both options have their own problems.
-The first option is to retrieve the data via the organization’s MDM (Mobile Device Management, an application that manages the tablets), but with the latest Android regulations, an application can’t access data from another, so it’s impossible to retrieve data stored in Qfield via the MDM.
So, for this first option, we were wondering whether someone had managed to get around Android regulations or change QField’s default data storage locations?
-The second option is the installation of a self-hosted Qfield cloud, however, we lack information, in terms of technical requirements, procedures, hardware…
So, for this second option, we were wondering if anyone has any additional information beyond that provided by OpenGIS for the installation of the self-hosted Qfield cloud?
