I tried the COGO feature.
I have a line geopackage with z dimensions.
I insert a first survey vertex where I am located.
With COGO, I insert a second vertex starting from the survey, entering the distance, azimuth, and final elevation.
The resulting line has the first vertex with z defined correctly, and the second vertex correctly defined in x and y, but with elevation = 0.
