Is it now possible to download a project (collected data) manually from iOS? The project has been deleted from the QFieldCloud.
Not possible in January this year (Export qcloud project manually · opengisch/QField · Discussion #3844 · GitHub), but perhaps now? Or where is the data.gpkg stored on a Iphone (which folder)?
Thanks
I find it very straightforward using Airdrop. On the iPhone, just find the project folder using file manager On my iPhone>QField>Imported Projects and share this using Airdrop with your desktop device. On the desktop save the incoming file to QField>Import directory then run QField sync to merge with the existing project.
An alternative to is connect the two devices by wire and simply move the project file across.
@falcontc , you are correct. While Android does support manually sending project file(s) - including cloud projects - via email / messenger / {insert your favorite app}, we do not yet support this on iOS.
It’s something that’s on our radar. One way to help would be to try and secure funding for it, that’d accelerate the desired functionality becoming reality.
