Qfield for IoS - Push changes not functionnal

Hi everyone !
May I have you 2 cents on this subject ?

  • I synchronized a QGIS project on Qfield for IoS with Qfieldsync.
  • Once modified on my Iphone on QfieldforIos I tried to push changes but somehow the project has been deleted on the cloud and this push raises an error “404 Object not found”.
  • How can I save my local data ? I know there is not export button on QfieldforIos but is there an other trick ?

Greetings @falcontc . At this moment for iOS, there are no other possible tricks. There’s a fairly high chance we will be able to implement additional functionalities in the first half of 2026 that will allow you to manually forward to an email address individual .gpkg files within your cloud project folder view. It’s already available on Android but currently MIA on iOS.

Thank you Mathieu ! However the data is still visible on the Iphone interface : is it to say that the data relies somewhere we cannot access ? Can we gather the same id of the local project and create a new project on Qfield Cloud so as to push changes to an existing project with the same id ?

Yeah exactly, there’s no way to access this part of the iOS storage easily. One way I’ve heard people do it is by backing up your app (possibly phone?) data at the OS level, and then fetch the data by accessing the backup file itself.

Ok ! I’ll try this one in that case : Can I access Qfield Cloud data at local directory in ios? - #4 by system

Thanks sir, et belle journée !
