Tracking function not working any longer

Hey!

We have been using Qfield for around 6 months, but seemingly out of nowhere the tracking function stopped working.

We have been using tracking to add tracks to a line layer that’s walked/driven and usually it starts drawing the line feature as soon as you start tracking. For some reason it stopped working on multiple devices yesterday and today.

We have been using Oneplus Pad 3 and OnePlus Nord CE5 (Android 16), Samsung S21 (android 15) and none of the units are drawing the lines right now. Nothing has been changed on them settings wise, and just to test that there was nothing wrong with the project itself i tested it on a google pixel 9 pro (Android 17) where the line features were drawn without issues right away.

We have paid accounts, and there is storage space available, so that should not be a problem.

We’re quite stuck on a big project, so hoping someone might have a tip or two :slight_smile:

Update:

For some reason if i start tracking, lock the phone and open it back up after a while, it is able to “replay” the positions from when the phone was locked and draw the lines. This does however only work the first time i lock the screen. After that i have to restart the app and can track one time while the screen is locked (which of course does not make any sense while trying to navigate after the map).

Still stuck on this.
