What is the latest best setup for the above please. I’d like to use the 1cm subscription to maximum accuracy - in particular I need help with:
Correct setup sequence
Appropriate CRS in Qfield
Conflicting info on use of mock locations or not
Use of OSNetv2009 in output of Trimble Mobile Manager

from testing the Catalyst DA2 in the Netherlands I use the following setup:
Install the Trimble Mobile manager app on your phone. You need that to connect to your 1 cm Trimble NTRIP subscription. I have not tested whether QField can directly connect to the Trimble NTRIP services.
In the Mobile Manager app, you can set the output and the geoid, in here you can most likely choose OSNetv2009.
On Android with QField use the Mock Location option. The Mobile Manager app will override the internal location output and QField will pick up the 1 cm accuracy signal.
I do not know which CRS setting in your QField project is best for your use.

The most interesting point is that you suggest turning Android’s mock location on but other posts suggest that it should be off if using Catalyst with Qfield. I’ll try both.

Hi @CharlieF I can confirm the suggestion by @Jeroen-GroeneBij to set the mock location in your Android phone to the one generated by your Trimble Catalyst subscription. It remains the “Internal Device” which is a bit tricky as you don’t see a difference in the QField app. But you should see it in the accuracy as soon as you have the subscription for high resolution activated.
I like to have the position information visible on the screen to check the accuracy quickly, this can be activated and deactivated in the Positioning settings.
