Caching Imagery from a XYZ for Offline Use in Qfield

I’m currently investigating methods to obtain an offline basemap featuring high-resolution aerial imagery through the use of Google Satellite via an XYZ server. Typically, when I’m online and zoom into a specific area, I find that the cached imagery remains accessible even when offline, providing seamless navigation in the field. However, I’m curious about the longevity of this cached view within QField. Specifically, I’m interested in understanding how long the cached imagery remains available and whether it persists when I close the application or switch between projects. Are there any limitations or constraints associated with this caching feature?
Any insights or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
