"The project is read-only", how to change that?

Dear users,

I`m doing my first steps with Qfield. In the QfieldCloud as user “A” I have succesfully created a project. I synchronized with “QFieldSync” and as user “A” I log in Qfield. There I can digitize/add new features in a PostGIS-Point-Layer. So far, so good. I have set the project on “public”.

The problem is:

Another user “B” now logs in in Qfield and can open the project.

But he can`t create new features, eventhough this is allowed in the settings (you can see in the picture).

In Qfield to that layer its written: “Disabled layer permissions: attribute editing, geometry editing, feature deletion” (so I thought “feature addition” would work).

The mentioned layer “digitalisierung” is NOT set to “read only”.

But in Qfield I can`t set the “Digitize mode” ( Digitize and Edit - QField Ecosystem Documentation ). I have no “green pencil”. It is always written: “The project is read-only”.

Can anybody say how to change it? In the QfieldCloud I have tried quite a lot so far. “Checked off” the box “Restrict project files” e.g., but wihtout any succes…:-/

Many regards from here, Kai

Ok, it seems that the project manager first has to set user “B” as a collaborator in the QFieldCloud-project-settings, then it works…
