Workflow splitting polygons (repeatedly)

Hi all,

I want to create a vegetation map covering an entire area in QField (detailed 10m² polygon detail).

The best way to do this seems to be to create a large polygon of the area to be mapped, and then split it (using the split tool) in the field. Otherwise there is some risk of slivers.

However, the workflow method for selecting and splitting polygons is rather cumbersome/unhandy in QField, by long pressing and selecting layer, opening object form, clicking edit, selecting splitting, drawing a split and saving. And for the next polygon split, you have to do it all again.

Are there any specific plugins / workflow wins available to make this easier/faster?

Thanks in advance.

Perhaps make the little polygons on qgis first using vector creation - make grid and clipping it to your large polygon. Then upload the layer to Qfield.
